Today, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić refrained from commenting on the detention of 11 individuals as ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime, linked to a financial probe concerning the modernization and reconstruction of the Novi Sad – Subotica – Kelebija railway. Among those detained are several state officials, including former ministers.

“I will address the topic of the color revolution and the misconduct by the Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime—not against organized crime—tomorrow, along with their media representatives and their affiliates within the Serbian police,” Vučić stated while touring the ongoing reconstruction efforts for homes that were damaged by fires in the settlements of Novo Momčilovo and Konjarnik near Žitorađa.

Vučić mentioned that certain prosecutors are attempting to arrest him, but he claims they lack sufficient evidence.

“There are combined efforts from specific prosecutors and individuals from SB POK and UKP, who are under external influence, trying to detain me. Their attempts are wholly unsuccessful due to the absence of valid arguments,” Vučić added.

He remarked that “the time for decisions, the moment for accountability” is approaching, assuring that Serbia will be safeguarded and protected.

Additionally, he urged all Serbian citizens to gather in Sremske Karlovci on Sunday at 19:00, where the 30th anniversary of the Croatian army and police operation “Storm,” which he labeled a “criminal operation,” will be officially commemorated.

“I am uncertain if Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik will attend, but both the Patriarch and I will discuss what lies ahead for us, and I will seek support and assistance from the people concerning our future challenges,” Vučić explained.

He warned that “the homeland is under threat, being attacked from both external and internal forces, and we must defend ourselves.”
