The leader of Saudi Arabia’s influential promotional fund, Turki Al-Sheikh, has secured four fights for the celebrated Mexican boxer, Saul Canelo Alvarez.

Interestingly, Canelo will not conduct all his bouts at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, which has gained prominence as the largest “ring” in professional boxing over the past three years.

The only confirmed opponent for Alvarez at this time is the exceptional Terence Crawford, with their match scheduled to occur in Las Vegas this September.

Canelo’s first fight of the year will take place in May, though details regarding his opponent and the venue are yet to be revealed. Fans in Saudi Arabia will have the opportunity to watch Canelo fight in both February and October of next year.
