The Montenegrin Cup draw for senior men and women took place at the Basketball Association’s headquarters, scheduled to be held in Bijelo Polje from February 12th to 14th.

The men’s tournament features eight clubs: three teams from the ABA League—Budućnost Voli, SC Derbi, and Mornar Barsko zlato—along with four first-place teams from IA MCKL (Podgorica Bemaks, Sutjeska Elektroprivreda, Teodo, and Primorje 1945), plus the play-off winner who faced the fifth-placed team from IA MCKL and the leader of IB MCKL (Jedinstvo 1950, which triumphed over Pljevlja).

The balls were drawn by David Mirković from SC Derbi and Marija Baošić, the playmaker for Budućnost Bemaks.

In the quarterfinals on Wednesday, February 12, the following matchups are set: Sutjeska Elektroprivreda vs SC Derbi (1 PM), Budućnost Voli vs Primorje 1945 (3:30 PM), Mornar Barsko zlato vs Podgorica Bemaks (6 PM), and Teodo vs Jedinstvo 1950 (8 PM).

According to the draw, winners of the Budućnost Voli vs Primorje 1945 and Mornar Barsko zlato vs Podgorica Bemaks matches will face the winners of Teodo vs Jedinstvo 1950 and Sutjeska Elektroprivreda vs SC Derbi in the semi-finals. Semi-final matches are scheduled for 3:20 PM and 8 PM.

The final is set for Friday, February 14th, at 8 PM.

SC Derbi is the defending men’s champion, having defeated Budučnost Voli with a score of 81:80 in last season’s final.

Four clubs are competing in the senior women’s tournament—Trebjesa, Podgorica, Primorje, and Budućnost Bemaks—who will compete for the trophy in the semi-finals scheduled for Thursday, February 13th.

By the results of the draw, Podgorica and Budućnost Bemaks will meet in one semi-final match starting at 3:30 PM, while Trebjesa and Primorje will battle at 1 PM.

The final for the senior women’s competition will occur on Friday, February 14th, at 5 PM. Budućnost Bemaks will defend their title after defeating Podgorica in last year’s final (83:59).
