“Phoenix Edges Out Utah in Overtime, Thrilling Finale in Charlotte”
Last night, Charlotte’s basketball team triumphed over San Antonio (117:116), putting an end to their six-game losing streak in the NBA.
The game concluded in dramatic fashion—just eight seconds remaining, Diaron Fox made a successful shot, giving San Antonio a 116:114 lead. Charlotte quickly answered back with Bridges sinking a three-pointer for the win. Fox attempted to hit a three-pointer as time expired, but it didn’t count.
Bridges was Charlotte’s standout performer, scoring 25 points, while Ball added 24. For San Antonio, Castle led with 33 points and Fox contributed 22.
In another thrilling matchup, the Suns edged past Utah in overtime, 135:127. The Suns held a comfortable 111:98 lead with just six minutes to go, but Utah fought back to take a brief lead at 122:119.
In a dramatic finish, Allen sank a three-pointer at the buzzer to force overtime, where Phoenix managed to regain control.
Devin Booker led the way for the Suns with an impressive 47 points, in addition to six rebounds and 11 assists, while Allen scored 21 points. John Collins was Utah’s top scorer with 21 points.
