The police in Bar have submitted a criminal complaint against VK (65) from the city, suspected of engaging in illegal construction.

According to the Police Directorate, his actions resulted in damage to the state budget amounting to approximately 46,000 euros.

“Due to suspicions regarding the criminal offense of constructing a building without the necessary registration and documentation, a criminal report has been filed with the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Bar against VK (65). It is believed that he initiated the construction of a building spanning 2024 square meters in the Veliki Pijesak area, within the Bar municipality, without submitting the required building registration and documentation, thus incurring losses for the state budget estimated at around 46,000 euros,” stated the police.

Furthermore, officers from the Regional Security Center “South” will continue their efforts to prevent and combat illegal construction in collaboration with relevant authorities in the near future.
