“Lionesses” Set to Discover Their Opponent on Sunday

On Sunday, Montenegrin handball players will learn who their opponent will be for the play-off of the 2025 World Championship.
The draw is scheduled to commence at 1:30 p.m. on the second day of the weekend.
Due to their eighth-place finish at the European Championship, the Lionesses have earned a spot in the first hat, and their potential opponents include: North Macedonia, Croatia, Turkey, Serbia, Portugal, Ukraine, Slovakia, Lithuania, Kosovo, Israel, and Italy.
The play-off matches will take place on April 9/10 and April 12/13 next year, with the first drawn team hosting the initial match, as per the Handball Association of Montenegro.
From the European teams, alongside hosts Germany and the Netherlands, France as the reigning world champion, Denmark, Norway, and Hungary have secured their spots in the World Championship.
