Dallas’ newly acquired basketball player, Anthony Davis, will be sidelined for several weeks due to a left leg hamstring injury.
Reports from renowned NBA insider and ESPN journalist Shams Charania indicate that Davis might be out for as long as a month.
The American center exited the game on Saturday during the third quarter of his debut with Dallas against Houston, and he did not return. During his 16 minutes on the court, he tallied 31 points, 26 rebounds, seven assists, and three blocks.
Following the game, Davis mentioned experiencing “tightness in the groin and quadriceps area,” assuring fans that “it’s nothing serious.”
Davis recently joined Dallas as part of a significant trade that sent Luka Dončić (25), a five-time NBA All-Star, to the Los Angeles Lakers.
At 31, Davis has earned 10 NBA All-Star selections, been a part of the All-Star Team in four seasons, and won the championship with the Lakers in 2020.
