Students representing Montenegro at the 36th International Biology Olympiad (IBO 2025) set to take place from July 20 to 27 in Quezon City, Philippines, include Miloš Milović from the “Slobodan Škerović” Gymnasium in Podgorica, Sara Joksimović from the “Danilo Kiš” Mixed Secondary School in Budva, Helena Vuković from the “Braća Selić” Mixed Secondary School in Kolašin, and Daniil Monakhov from the “Niko Rolović” Gymnasium in Bar.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation has announced that the team leaders for this event are Luka Velašević and Aleksa Petković.
Joining them on their journey are Dragan Marković, the State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, along with Milanka Izgarević, the Advisor for Inter-Sectoral Cooperation at the Examination Center.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Podgorica Student Home for providing accommodation for the students during their preparation, and to the Faculty of Science and Mathematics of the University of Montenegro, the Specialist Veterinary Laboratory, and the Center for Ecotoxicological Testing for facilitating their training,” stated the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation.
