Teodo Surpasses Jedinstvo to Secure Final Spot in Cup Semifinals
Teodo is the final contender in the Montenegrin Cup.
This evening, in the vibrant atmosphere of the “Nikoljac” hall, the Tivat team triumphed over the local favorites, Jedinstvo, with a score of 95:85, securing their spot in the semifinals.
Teodo had multiple opportunities to build a double-digit lead during the first half, yet the home side kept the deficit close, ending the halftime at 49:46.
A three-pointer from Kljajević in the 21st minute leveled the game at 49:49. Following this, Teodo responded with an impressive 11:2 run, culminating in Ivanovic’s three-pointer that made it 60:51.
With points from Ðorđević-Marinković in the 29th minute, Teodo finally established a double-digit lead at 71:61. In the final quarter, the game became more manageable for Teodo, whose advantage swelled to plus 16 (91:75).
Jovan Đorđević-Marinković and Nemanja Vranješ each contributed 19 points for Teodo. Miloš Popović added 18 points along with 13 rebounds, while Danilo Ivanović scored 15.
For the home team, Marcus Evans led the scoring with 20 points, followed by Marko Kljajević with 19 and Nemanja Knežević who reached 14.
Tomorrow’s semifinal matches will feature Budućnost Voli versus Mornar Barsko zlato at 18:00 and SC Derbi against Teodo at 20:30.
