Steer Clear of Long Trips During Peak Heat Hours

This morning, in Montenegro, traffic is flowing smoothly on dry roads with good visibility, as reported by the Automobile and Motorcycle Association (AMSCG). They advise avoiding long travels during the hottest parts of the day due to high temperatures.
The AMSCG urges drivers to maintain maximum caution, adjusting their driving to road conditions and adhering to traffic regulations.
On the regional road Đurđevića Tara – Mojkovac, traffic is halted for all vehicles in Sokolovina due to a rockfall as part of ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
Traffic on the regional road R-29 Bar – Kamenički most Krute will be suspended from 11 AM to 1 PM and again from 4 PM to 6 PM due to reconstruction work.
On the M-2 main road, sections between Lepenac – Ribarevina, Ribarevina – Poda, and Poda – Berane will experience alternating one-lane traffic, with occasional stops for up to 30 minutes.
On the M-3 main road from Plužine to Jasenovo Polje, one-lane alternating traffic is in effect on the Zaborje – Jasenovo Polje section, regulated by traffic lights.
Due to adaptations on the regional road R-19, traffic on the Trešnjevik – Andrijevica section has switched from two-way to one-way.
The AMSCG reports that Vojisavljevića Street in Podgorica is closed for construction on a new boulevard, diverting vehicles to alternative routes.
On the M-6 main road from Pljevlja to Đurđevića Tara, traffic regulations have changed from two-way to one-way at work sites.
On the M-6 highway, the section between Šavnik and Žabljak will temporarily change to one-way traffic from 5 PM to 7 PM due to the Provalija landslide rehabilitation.
Lastly, the AMSCG stated that two-way traffic will shift to alternating due to ongoing reconstruction of the access roads to the Đurđevića Tara bridge.
