Soil Health Survey Conducted Within the ECOBASE Project

Soil Health Assessment Conducted as Part of the ECOBASE Project

Under the ECOBASE initiative – “Ecological Solutions to Combat Land Degradation,” which is financed by the Interreg IPA ADRION programme, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management is undertaking efforts to enhance soil health and promote the sustainable use of natural resources.

Soil Health Survey Conducted Within the ECOBASE Project

Personnel from the Directorate for Advisory Services and Field Control in Plant Production, along with the Department for International Cooperation and IPA Projects, conducted a survey with agricultural producers in the municipalities of Tuzi, Zeta, Podgorica, and Danilovgrad.

Soil Health Survey Conducted Within the ECOBASE Project

The survey aimed to identify the challenges, needs, and priorities regarding soil health, with participation from 14 farmers.

The compiled data will serve as crucial input for planning future project activities, with an objective to strengthen capacities for soil quality preservation and enhancement, while also increasing awareness about the significance of sustainable soil management.
