Kozak Defeats Briton at Wembley and Claims $124 Million Prize

Aleksandr Usyk has solidified his legacy as one of the greatest boxers and athletes in history—the only individual to have claimed the undisputed heavyweight title twice!
In a sold-out Wembley Stadium, he defeated Daniel Dubois, the former IBF champion, right in front of the British crowd.
Achieving this feat at the age of 38, Usyk successfully retained his WBC, WBA, and WBO titles, while also reclaiming the IBF belt he lost last year due to a postponed defense against Tyson Fury.
Following that, Dubois became champion and later defended his title against Anthony Joshua in September of the previous year.
Usyk’s exceptional talent allowed him to evade Dubois’s attacks and effectively counter his much larger, 11 years younger opponent.
He wrapped up the bout with an impressive left hook in the fifth round, marking his second victory over Dubois, having previously won in Wroclaw two years prior, despite questions over whether Dubois’s punch was indeed a legal hit.
“Well, 38 is still young! Remember, 38 is just the beginning! I want to express my gratitude to Jesus Christ, my team, and Wembley—thank you so much! This performance was for the boxing fans. Now, it’s time to rest. I wish to spend time with my family—my wife and children. I want to take two or three months to just rest,” Usyk stated after achieving his 24th victory, now a three-time undisputed champion, twice in heavyweight and once in cruiserweight.
There’s no need to elaborate on his achievements in Olympic boxing!
Despite weighing a career-high 113.8 kg on Friday, Usyk moved around the ring with remarkable agility, preventing his opponent from capitalizing on his physical advantages.
“Usyk deserves all the accolades; I gave it my all. Don’t take the credit away from that man. I will make a comeback. I fought hard and tried my best round by round, but it is what it is,” said Dubois, who previously fell to Usyk in Wroclaw in 2023, succumbing in the ninth round.
In terms of earnings, Usyk pocketed a career-high $124 million for his spectacular left hook.
