Shaquille O’Neal Leads His Team to Victory in the All-Star Tournament

Shaquille O’Neal’s selected team emerged victorious in this year’s NBA All-Star Tournament, defeating Charles Barkley’s team with a score of 41:25 in the finals held in San Francisco.

This year, the traditional East vs. West matchup was substituted with a tournament format featuring four teams: Team Shaquille O’Neal, Team Kenny Smith, Team Charles Barkley, and Team Candice, the winner of the “Rising Stars” game. The format determined the winner as the team that first reached 40 points.

In the semifinals, Shaquille O’Neal’s squad triumphed over Team Candice with a score of 42:35, while Charles Barkley’s team defeated Team Kenny Smith 41:32.

The All-Star Most Valuable Player (MVP) was awarded to the point guard of the winning team, Golden State’s Stephen Curry, who contributed 12 points (4/8 from three-point range), along with four rebounds, two steals, and one assist in the finals.

On Shaquille O’Neal’s team, the standout performer in the final was Boston’s Jayson Tatum, who scored 15 points.

On Charles Barkley’s team, the top performers in the final were centers Victor Wembley’s from San Antonio with 11 points and Karl-Anthony Towns from New York with eight points. Serbian player Nikola Jokić recorded two points, four rebounds, and two assists over ten minutes of play.

Shaquille O’Neal’s team quickly established an 11-0 lead in the final, allowing them to control the game comfortably.

The upcoming All-Star Weekend is scheduled for February 13 to 15, 2026, at the new arena of the Los Angeles Clippers in Inglewood, California.
