Danes Dominate: Portugal Overwhelmed in Semi-Finals

The Danish handball team triumphed in the World Championship semi-finals by defeating Portugal 40:27 (20:16) this evening in Oslo.

Leading the charge for Denmark were Matthias Gidsel with nine goals and Rasmus Schmidt with eight. For Portugal, Antonio Areia topped the scoring with five goals, while Victor Alvarez contributed four.

Denmark will face Croatia in the finals after they overcame France in the semi-finals.

The Danes have claimed victory in the last three World Championships.

The final match is scheduled for Sunday at 18:00 in Oslo, with the bronze medal clash between France and Portugal kicking off at 15:00.
