Joel Embiid and Paul George were absent, but when Tyrese Maxey shines, the game becomes much simpler.

The Philadelphia 76ers secured a victory against the Los Angeles Lakers on their home turf (118:104), with Maxi scoring an impressive 43 points.

The talented player averaged 30.4 points over the last 12 games, exceeding that total in just the third quarter, entering the final minutes with 41 points.

Kelly Oubre contributed 20 points, along with eight rebounds and five assists for the 76ers, while Ricky Kansil added 16 points and recorded seven steals.

On the Lakers’ side, LeBron James led the team with 31 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds, while Anthony Davis was sidelined after halftime due to stomach issues. LeBron’s son Broni played 15 minutes but did not score.

In another exciting matchup, the Houston Rockets triumphed over the Atlanta Hawks with a score of 100:96, marking their fourth consecutive victory.

Atlanta brought the margin to two points with 46 seconds remaining (96:98) and had a chance to take the lead with 13 seconds left, but Deandre Hunter missed a three-pointer.

Jaylen Green led the Rockets with 25 points and seven rebounds while Alperen Shengun notched a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jayson Tate also contributed with 16 points.

The Hawks were led by Trae Young, scoring 21 points and dishing out nine assists.

Portland secured a solid home win against Milwaukee, finishing 125:112, fueled by 30 points from Danny Avdija.

The Israeli player also gathered nine rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Anfernee Simons contributed 25 points and seven assists, while Deandre Ayton delivered a double-double with 21 points and 14 rebounds.

For Milwaukee, Giannis Antetokounmpo excelled with a double-double, scoring 39 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, complemented by five assists, while Damian Lillard added 20 points in his return to face his former team.

In San Francisco, the Golden State Warriors bested the Utah Jazz 114:103, handing the Jazz their seventh consecutive defeat.

Stephen Curry was unavailable due to a knee injury, and Draymond Green missed his fifth game because of a calf issue. The team was driven by Denis Schröder, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Brendon Podziemski contributed 20 points, seven rebounds, and six assists, while Andrew Wiggins scored 19 points.

The leading scorer for the Jazz was Colin Sexton, who tallied 30 points.
