The women’s handball club Budućnost, along with Mayor Saša Mujović, has engaged in extensive discussions regarding the club’s operational and growth strategies to reclaim its former prestige.

“The determination shown by the Capital City leadership and Mayor Saša Mujović to implement various personnel and financial strategies to help this two-time European champion regain its esteemed position in European handball is truly motivating,” stated the Women’s Handball Club Budućnost.

The club expresses satisfaction that all parties—including players, coaching staff, club officials, and the Capital City—share a unified aspiration to collaboratively shape Budućnost’s future!

Attention will be given to identifying the most suitable candidates for key roles within the club, after which a development strategy for the upcoming four years will be established, based on the foundations provided by the Capital.

“These initiatives aim to make Budućnost competitive once again on the European stage and, with the support of devoted fans, to restore its legacy. As the premier sports brand in our country, with a rich history of 76 years and 77 titles, the women’s handball club Budućnost deserves to be recognized again among Europe’s elite teams,” read the statement from ŽRK Budućnost.
