Marković Appointed to the Security and Defense Committee

Dane Marković, a member of the Europe Now Movement (PES), was elected today to the Committee on Security and Defense in the Parliament of Montenegro.

During today’s Assembly session, 45 MPs cast their votes in favor of Marković.

He will take over the position from his party colleague, Jelena Nedović.

Earlier today, the Administrative Committee recommended that the Assembly elect Marković as a member of the Committee on Security and Defense.

The decision received unanimous support from the ruling majority MPs, while opposition MPs were absent from the session.

Additionally, Parliament acknowledged Nedović’s resignation from the Security and Defense Committee.
