Ferencváros and Jadran Split Set to Face Novljan in Elite Matchup
The Jadran water polo team has been placed in group C for next season’s Champions League, as confirmed by today’s draw.
The Novljan team will face Ferencvaros, the Split club Jadran, and the winner of qualification group A, which includes Hanover, Barcelona, Crvena zvezda, Honved, and Apollon.
Group A features Novi Beograd, Sabadelj, Steaua, and the winner of qualification group B, where Primorac is competing against Radnički, Breša, Duisburg, and the French team Noisy le Sec; only the group winner will advance.
Group B includes Pro Reko, Olympiakos, Dinamo Tbilisi, and the top team from qualification group D. Finally, group D consists of Barceloneta, Marseille, Spandau, and the best team from qualification group C.
The qualifying tournaments are set to take place from September 8 to 10, with the group stage kicking off on the 26th of the same month.
The top two teams from the group stage will progress to the quarter-finals, while the teams finishing third and fourth will continue their journey in the Eurocup.
