Head coach of the Montenegrin men’s handball team, Didije Dinar, has revealed the roster for the upcoming matches against Hungary in the European Championship qualifiers.
These encounters will be crucial in determining the leading position in the qualifying group for EHF Euro 2026.
Montenegro will host Hungary on March 12, followed by a rematch in Tatabanja four days later, both teams having kicked off their EHF Euro 2026 qualifiers with wins against Slovakia and Finland.
The roster features 18 players, with 14 of them previously part of the lineup during last November’s initial qualifiers against Finland and Slovakia.
Returning to the national team are left wing Filip Vujović, center back Miloš Božović, and pivot Admir Pelidija. Additionally, coach Dinar will once again have Stefan Čavor available, who has recovered from his November injury.
Unfortunately, left-back Vuk Borozan will not be joining due to an incomplete recovery. He has agreed with the coaching staff to be available for future crucial matches if needed.
The “Lions” will host Hungary at the “M:tel Morača Hall,” marking coach Dinar’s first match in the largest Montenegrin venue, following his victories against Finland at the “Bemax Arena” and Slovakia in Košice.
The roster includes – goalkeepers: Nebojsa Simić and Nikola Matović;
wings: Miloš Vujović, Aleksandar Bakić, Filip Vujović, Mirko Radović, and Luka Radović;
pivots: Miodrag Corsovic, Luka Vujovic, and Admir Pelidija;
backs: Arsenije Dragasevic, Milos Bozovic, Radojica Cepic, Vasilije Kaludjerovic, Stevan Vujovic, Branko Vujovic, Stefan Cavor, and Risto Vujacic;
reserve players: Haris Suljević, Vojislav Vukić, and Mihailo Šćekić.
