During an official visit to Ankara, Minister of Diaspora Mirsad Azemović met with Abdullah Eren, the Director of the Directorate for Turkish Diaspora and Related Communities (YTB). Their discussion centered on enhancing cooperation to support the diaspora, maintain cultural identity, and engage young members of the Montenegrin community in Turkey through educational and developmental initiatives.

Azemović expressed gratitude to YTB for its ongoing support and highlighted the significance of deepening institutional ties, particularly through scholarship programs, cultural exchanges, and projects that link diaspora youth with their homeland.

“The diaspora serves as a bridge connecting our two nations. Together, we can achieve more in preserving the language, traditions, and identity of our people abroad,” Azemović stated.

Eren affirmed his willingness to enhance collaboration, noting that Montenegrin communities in Turkey contribute significantly to the nation’s diverse multicultural landscape, as announced by the Ministry of Diaspora.
