Authorities from the Interpol NCB Podgorica, along with Special Police Units, successfully extradited Serbian citizen AR (27) from Montenegro to Serbia today. He is being sought for multiple criminal offenses, according to the Police Directorate’s announcement.

As stated by the police, Interpol Belgrade issued an international warrant for AR to enforce a prison sentence of 15 years and eight months, as determined by the Basic Court in Sombor.

AR faces charges including robbery in complicity, torture in complicity, illegal production and distribution of narcotics, engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor, theft, and robbery.

“The Crime Prevention Sector – Interpol NCB Podgorica continues to engage in extensive international intelligence collaboration to locate and apprehend individuals wanted internationally,” the announcement stated.
