The President of the Municipality of Budva, Nikola Jovanović, extended his congratulations to Marija Jovićević for her recent appointment as the Director of Komunalno Budva.

“I congratulate Marija Jovićević on becoming the director of Komunalni DOO Budva, with full belief that she will elevate the standards of professionalism within the local company. Naturally, this choice would not have been met with such scrutiny had it not sparked concerns among those accustomed to appointing staff in cafés and producing diplomas on demand. Their unfounded speculations regarding ‘conditions’ and ‘political trades’ are mere political theatrics from opposition fringe groups – more for internal consumption than for serious public discourse,” Jovanović stated on Facebook.

“Our approach remains straightforward: The city should be led by individuals who genuinely understand their roles. It should be governed by those familiar with the classroom, the index, and the book, rather than just the press room and gossip. Once again, congratulations to Marija. May the outcomes speak volumes in ways that rumors cannot obscure – showcasing truth, competence, and effort,” concluded Jovanović.
