Arsenal holds the second position, while Liverpool has already claimed the title, yet the Gunners’ coach maintains that the season has not been disappointing. On the contrary!

“Red cards and several injuries have certainly influenced our journey. Of course, we can’t predict what might have happened otherwise. Would we have been closer to Liverpool without those issues? My belief is yes. Given our achievements and performances,” stated the Spanish coach.

Despite Arsenal’s impressive run in the Champions League, he feels there’s room for improvement.

“We need to approach it differently, as the expectations are higher. Reviewing the past three seasons, consistent outcomes without winning the championship are uncommon. We’re really close. The likelihood is that we must strive to enhance further,” the Arsenal manager expressed.

This season, the Gunners have endured more injuries than any other Premier League team and have amassed a league record of six red cards.

Over the last three Premier League seasons, Arsenal has accumulated 241 points, while Liverpool has secured 232 points. However, the Emirates side remains without a title.

In this time frame, Manchester City has achieved 245 points and clinched two league titles.
