The police in Bijelo Polje have lodged a criminal complaint against 22-year-old RD from the city, on the grounds of suspected document forgery.

During a targeted inspection, law enforcement officers halted a truck bearing Bijelo Polje license plates, which was operated by RD.

“Upon checking via relevant applications, officers discovered that the license plates in question were not registered to the vehicle under review but belonged to another freight vehicle, which had an expired license. In the cargo hold of the stopped truck, officers found stone material, which was subsequently turned over to Customs Administration officials for appropriate handling,” the Police Administration reported.

The prosecutor from the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Bijelo Polje noted that RD’s actions exhibited elements of the stated criminal offense, leading to the filing of criminal charges against him through standard legal procedures.
