Montenegro’s Handball Team Faces Third Loss at the Mediterranean Championship
Today, the Montenegrin men’s handball team suffered a defeat against Croatia, with a score of 27:11, during the third round of the Mediterranean Championship for athletes under 17 held in Tunisia.
In this match, the Montenegrin players were unable to secure a single point.
This marks their third loss in the tournament, following previous defeats to Kuwait (20:14) and Greece (17:15).
Mihailo Jovićević emerged as the standout player for Montenegro, scoring three goals, while Oleg Šćekić, Matija Kapičić, and Ognjen Pejaković each contributed with two goals.
Having accumulated only three points after three games, the Montenegrin national team is set to face Tunisia later today.
Italy is also in their group as a competing opponent.
