“At the End of December, 20,910 Companies and Entrepreneurs in Montenegro Under Blockade”

According to data from the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBC), nearly 20,910 companies and entrepreneurs are currently in a state of blockade, which marks a decrease of 0.21 percent since the end of November.

The total debt linked to these blocked accounts amounts to 1.36 billion euros, reflecting an increase of 0.75 percent compared to November.

The CBM reports that the concentration of debt is notably high, with the top ten debtors, representing just 0.05 percent of all recorded accounts, accounting for 32.4 percent of the total blockade. These entities have debts totaling 439.06 million euros, as noted by Mine.

It was indicated that 51.6 percent of the overall blockade, or 699.26 million euros, is attributed to the 50 largest debtors, who comprise only 0.24 percent of the total recorded accounts.

In a continuous state of blockade, there are 1,760 debtors whose combined blockade amounts to 23.49 million euros, which is 1.73 percent of the overall blockade. Furthermore, 19,140 companies or entrepreneurs have been blocked for over a year, totaling 1.33 billion euros in debt.
