The Montenegrin handball team achieved their second victory at the Mediterranean Championship for players under 17 in Tunisia.

After facing defeats against Kuwait, Greece, and Croatia, the squad, comprised of players born in 2008 and 2009, secured another win against Italy with a score of 21:15, accumulating four out of a possible five points.

Luka Todorović led the scoring with four goals, while Ivan Nikčević, Danilo Gutić, and Matija Kapičić contributed three goals each.

The tournament will now progress to the matches for 5th to 8th place, with Serbia as their next opponent. The match is scheduled for Friday at 14:00.
