Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has confirmed the authenticity of a video showing students allegedly rehearsing how to simulate a car attack.
Broadcast by Pink Television, the footage depicts students practicing ways to confront vehicles, how to fall realistically, and how to document such incidents.
Vučić asserted that the recording was genuine and originated from Cetinjska Street in Kragujevac, questioning whether the students believed everyone in Kragujevac was in support of their actions and would not record their activities.
“This is the clearest sign that we are witnessing a color revolution,” stated the Serbian president.
Vladan Petrov, a constitutional law professor, corroborated Vučić’s claims and urged state authorities to take action against those attempting to stage false attacks and trampling incidents.
However, he acknowledged that this does not imply the prior incidents of trampling and injuries to students were staged.
The video shared by Pink illustrates a group of youths positioned between two buildings, with one individual using a megaphone to instruct them on how to enact violent scenarios and referring to the drivers as “actors.”
Students from the Academy of Arts in Belgrade have clarified that the footage, misrepresented by certain media as students faking incidents, is actually part of a film project and is being taken out of context.
