SC Derby’s Resounding Loss in Belgrade: Series Concluded 21-0

SC Derby was competitive against FMP for 28 minutes, keeping the score close. However, Joshua Scott and Petar Popović ensured the victory remained in Belgrade as the game progressed.
SC Derby fell to FMP with a score of 78:55 in the 55th round of the AdmiralBet ABA League. The turning point came when the home team executed a remarkable 21:0 run, spanning the end of the third quarter and lasting through the fourth. This defeat also ended SC Derby’s five-match winning streak against their opponent.
Without Luka Bogavac and Igor Drobnjak, Nikola Pavlićević stepped up, and after hitting a three-pointer, the “students” established a 20:17 advantage early in the second quarter.
During this period, Zoran Nikolić was effective near the basket, contributing significantly. Following his points, SC Derby enjoyed a seven-point lead (29:22) midway through the second quarter, and David Mirković pushed the lead to as much as eight points (35:27).
The “students” maintained their edge at the start of the second half, but struggled to contain Scott and Popović. FMP’s explosive 21:0 run at the end of the third and into the fourth quarter propelled them to a 74:50 lead, sealing SC Derby’s 14th loss in the regional competition.
Nikolić was the top scorer for SC Derby with 12 points, while Pavlićević finished with 11 points.
For FMP, Scott scored 22 points, followed by Stevens with 15 points and Popović with 14 points.
