189 Pills from Targeted Individual’s Drug List Confiscated

The Police Directorate (PD) announced today that 47 tablets, classified as narcotics, were confiscated from an individual named VT (189), who lacked the necessary medical documentation.
The Berane police have proceeded with a formal complaint against VT.
According to the statement, “Officers from the Regional Security Center ‘North’ – Berane Security Department, during their proactive measures to curb illegal possession and misuse of narcotics, discovered a significant quantity of tablets while searching the individual of interest from Berane, leading to a report against him. Following a court-authorized search of VT’s (47) residence and other relevant locations, 189 tablets from various manufacturers were located and seized. These tablets are classified as narcotic drugs, and VT was unable to provide the requisite medical documentation,” the PD reported.
The security agency noted that the Higher State Prosecutor’s Office in Bijelo Polje has been notified about the incident, confirming that there are no prosecutable elements of a criminal offense in this case.
Furthermore, “Police officers have submitted a request to the appropriate misdemeanor court to initiate proceedings against VT for violating Article 52 of the Drug Abuse Prevention Act,” the PD stated.
