The Bar police have detained MP (45) on allegations of theft, specifically for stealing a toolbox from a residence in Bar. Subsequently, he is accused of breaking into another family home in Bar, utilizing either a suitable tool or physical force to gain entry, searching the premises, and stealing two mobile phones, as reported by the Police Directorate (PD) today.

The announcement indicates that he faces five counts of aggravated theft, as well as charges related to forgery and the misuse of credit and cashless payment cards.

The UP noted that three days after the initial thefts, MP unlawfully entered the residence of a third victim by similar means, tampering with the balcony door, and proceeded to steal a laptop and an external hard drive.

“On the same night, he entered the home of another victim using the same method, taking personal documents, a bank card, a sum of 200 euros, a wallet, and a purse. Furthermore, five days later, MP allegedly stole a wallet containing 90 euros, personal documents, and a bank card from yet another family home,” the statement elaborated.

The UP reported that MP committed the offenses of forgery and misuse of credit cards by withdrawing 500 euros from an ATM using one of the stolen bank cards.
