Commemorative Session in Honor of Petar Porobić’s Passing This Thursday in Herceg Novi

A commemorative session honoring the legendary Montenegrin water polo coach Petar Porobić will take place tomorrow (Thursday) in the “Park” hall of Herceg Novi, commencing at 10:30 am.

This announcement comes from the Water Polo and Swimming Association of Montenegro, which adds that the session will be co-hosted with PVK Jadran and VPK Primorac.

Petar Porobić will be laid to rest on Friday in Herceg Novi.

The renowned coach, who guided Montenegro to the European championship in 2008 and Serbia and Montenegro to the World Cup three years prior, passed away suddenly on Monday at the age of 67.
