The contract of Mohamed Salah with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of the season, leading to much speculation in recent months. However, it appears the Egyptian forward has yet to make a definitive choice regarding his future.

The question remains whether he will continue at Anfield or consider a move to the Middle East, as the talk of a transfer to Saudi Arabia increases.

“I would be astonished if anyone around the globe said they wouldn’t want to sign Salah. We, like many others, wish to keep him and see him extend his contract, that’s evident,” remarked Reds manager Arne Slot.

Salah doesn’t need guidance from the Dutch manager.

“He has made many wise choices throughout his career, and I trust that he will make the right one for himself now. I hope it’s a positive decision for us as well,” Slot added.

Salah is not the only prominent player at the club with an expiring contract; Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are also facing similar situations.

“I’m in discussions with all of them, but I won’t disclose the details of those conversations,” Slot concluded.
