Criminal Charges Filed Against Suspect for Major Fire in Danilovgrad

The police in Danilovgrad have submitted a criminal complaint against RB (64) from Zog Grad, under suspicion of committing a crime related to causing general danger.

According to the Police Directorate, the defendant is accused of starting a fire by igniting grass and low vegetation in the area of Velja Zagreda, which led to a significant blaze spreading across 9 km² of the difficult terrain of Mount Garač. This act endangered the lives and property of individuals in the vicinity.

The criminal report was processed through standard procedures following discussions with the prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Danilovgrad.
