The Comeback of Danijela Džaković
The head coach of the Montenegrin women’s volleyball team, Jovo Caković, has summoned 20 players to compete for a spot on the team for upcoming matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Latvia in August as part of the European Championship qualifiers.
Following their debut in the CEV Golden European League and a brief hiatus, our top volleyball athletes will commence their preparations on July 7th in Kolašin.
Montenegro requires just one victory to secure qualification for the European Championship for the very first time.
Adding to the roster is the return of Danijela Džaković, who was absent during the Golden League matches, alongside Simona Petranović, who could not participate due to injury.

The match against Bosnia and Herzegovina is set for August 6th in Goražde, with Latvia visiting four days later at the “Kolašin” Sports Center.
In the opening round of the qualifiers, our senior women achieved an official victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina with a score of 3:0, while they earned a point away from home against Latvia after narrowly losing 3:2.
