The Mornar basketball team will face Cibona tomorrow in Zagreb during the 22nd round of the Admiralbet ABA League.

This game represents a pivotal moment for the Bar team as it seeks to improve its standing in the league.

Cibona has secured three victories in the regional league so far, while Mornar’s only win this season came against Cibona in Bar, on November 4th last year (92:85).

Currently, Mornar is experiencing a 14-game losing streak and sits at the bottom of the ABA League table.

Coach Mihailo Pavicevic remarked that these matches can determine the future of both teams.

“The team that remains calmer, more focused, and possesses that essential fighting spirit and aggression will have a better chance of winning. Every away game in the ABA League poses a challenge; there are no easy teams, so we understand the stakes involved,” Pavićević stated.

He expressed his intention to encourage the players to give their utmost effort, suggesting that if they do, the Bar team can aspire for a positive outcome.

“Both teams recognize the significance of this game,” said Pavicevic.

The match at the “Dražen Petrović” Basketball Center is scheduled to begin at 19:00.
