Lovćen Claims the Championship Title

The Lovćen handball team triumphed over Sutjeska Nikšić with a score of 44:25 this evening in Cetinje, securing the Montenegrin championship title.
This marks Lovćen’s third consecutive championship victory and their 12th overall, following a season where coach Filip Popović’s squad achieved 17 wins against just one defeat.
Since regaining independence, Lovćen has claimed 13 trophy wins in the Cup.
The trophy was awarded to Lovćen’s captain, Mirko Radović, by Petar Kapisoda, the president of the Handball Association, while the national team coach, Didije Dinar, was also present at the match held in the Royal Capital.
The handball season will conclude with the Montenegrin Cup final tournament, scheduled for May 17th and 18th at the Bemax Arena.
