Edita Tahiri, the former leader of Kosovo’s negotiation team with Serbia, stated today that potential border adjustments in the Balkans would be “beneficial for Albanians.” She expressed that such changes would help “unite (that) tragically divided nation.” Tahiri shared her thoughts on Facebook, noting that “speculations about peace talks led by Trump have commenced.”

“Analyses from pro-Russian and pro-Serbian sources reinforce the idea of border changes, particularly between Kosovo and Serbia,” Tahiri remarked.

She emphasized that the American president “understands that border alterations cannot occur in just one area of the Balkans; any changes will affect the entire region, whether through peaceful means or conflict.”

According to Tahiri, border modifications would benefit Albanians by fostering the unification of “an already tragically divided Albanian nation.”
