Liverpool and Arsenal battled to a 2-2 draw today in the 36th round of the Premier League.

Liverpool opened the scoring in the 20th minute with a goal from Cody Gakpo, followed by an additional goal from Luis Diaz just a minute later.

Arsenal managed to equalize in the 47th minute thanks to Gabriel Martinelli, and Mikel Merino secured a point for the visitors in the 70th minute.

However, Merino was sent off nine minutes later after receiving a second yellow card, leaving Arsenal with ten players for the remainder of the match.

Liverpool has already clinched the English championship, their first since 2020. They currently lead the Premier League with 83 points, while Arsenal trails in second place with 15 points less.

Liverpool’s upcoming match will be away against Brighton, while Arsenal will host Newcastle.
