Every National Team Has Potential: Ample Opportunity for Quality Work by January
Montenegrin handball players performed admirably in the draw for the European Championship.
During the tournament, scheduled from January 15 to February 1 next year, the “lions” will compete in Group D alongside Slovenia, the Faroe Islands, and Switzerland, aiming for one of the top two positions to advance to the main stage.
Coach Didije Dinar is confident in his team’s preparation for the continental championship.
“Now that we know our opponents for the upcoming European Championship, we can begin our preparations that will continue for the next six months. Every European national team is of high quality, but it is essential for us to prepare diligently and approach the championship with the same level of commitment and professionalism as before,” Dinar stated on the official website of the Handball Federation of Montenegro.
This will mark Montenegro’s eighth participation in the European Championship.
“In the upcoming period, we will systematically analyze the situation, primarily focusing on assessing our players’ status and form within their clubs. There is ample time and opportunity for effective training between now and January, and we enter this next six months fully committed, with a clear goal to be ready for the European Championship,” concluded the renowned French coach.
