The total turnover on the Montenegro Stock Exchange in December of the previous year reached 700,190 euros, which is an increase of 174 percent compared to November.

“In comparison to December 2023, the turnover has decreased by 87.83 percent. The average daily turnover was 31,803 euros,” reported the Montenegro Stock Exchange, noting that there were 22 trading days in December and a total of 162 transactions were executed.

The primary market turnover for December totaled 326,910 euros with 44 transactions completed.

During the same period, there were 16 transactions in the standard market, resulting in a turnover of 25,950 euros.

In December, 71 transactions occurred in the free market with a total turnover of 319,180 euros.

The overall turnover for the MTP ME market reached 28,150 euros, covering 31 transactions. By the end of December, the MNSE10 index was recorded at 1,085.52 points, reflecting a 2.09 percent change from the same period in 2023.

The Monex index value at the close of last month stood at 16,433.46 points, representing a 5.46 percent change compared to the same period.

The market capitalization of shares on the regulated MONTENEGROBERE market was valued at 2.6 billion euros as of December 31, evidencing a four percent increase compared to the same period in 2023. Over the course of a year, market capitalization has risen by 101.8 million euros.
