Cedevita-Olimpija celebrated another significant victory as Zvezdan Mitrović’s team triumphed over Red Star with a score of 74:69 in the 22nd round of the AdmiralBet ABA League held at “Stozice.”

This win against the reigning champions serves as a fantastic lead-up to their upcoming Eurocup quarterfinal match against Istanbul Bahçeşehir this Tuesday.

Meanwhile, this defeat pushed Red Star down to fourth place in the standings, as they were surpassed by Dubai, who have a better head-to-head record after defeating the Belgrade team twice this season.

After a dunk by Stewart, Cedevita-Olimpija achieved a maximum lead of eight points in the second quarter (29:21). Zvezda managed to equalize (36:36) and then took the lead (39:38) thanks to Miller-McIntyre.
