Second Round of Bilateral Talks Between Montenegro and Croatia Concluded

Today in Zagreb, Montenegro and Croatia engaged in bilateral consultations, with State Secretary from Montenegro’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Periša Kastratović, and State Secretary from Croatia’s Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Frano Matušić, at the helm.

“This meeting is a continuation of the discussions initiated during the first consultations on January 27, 2025. Through open dialogue, the attendees addressed the progress made in resolving outstanding issues while also planning the next steps, including timelines and methods for resolution, to ensure tangible results. Advancements in these matters will enhance bilateral relations and support Montenegro’s EU integration, which serves our mutual interests. Both sides have agreed to maintain ongoing communication regarding these topics,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.
