Businesses from Kyrgyzstan have shown keen interest in entering the Montenegrin market, highlighting the necessity for institutional support in establishing new cooperation channels, as discussed during a meeting at the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG).
Pavle D. Radovanović, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro, met with Beknazar Asanov, the Honorary Consul of Montenegro in Kyrgyzstan, to explore avenues for enhancing economic ties between the two nations.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro noted that the discussions focused on boosting trade relations and developing joint initiatives in tourism, energy, agriculture, and information technology.
Radovanović expressed his pleasure at the interest shown by Kyrgyz firms in the Montenegrin market and underscored the significance of institutional backing in establishing new cooperation avenues.
“The inauguration of the honorary consulate office in Bishkek in September presents a promising opportunity to foster connections and share information, which will positively impact the economic relations between our countries,” stated Radovanović.
Asanov remarked on his immense honor to serve as the honorary consul of such a beautiful country as Montenegro.
“Given Montenegro’s stunning landscapes, I am confident that there will be a substantial influx of tourists from Kyrgyzstan next year,” said Asanov, reiterating his commitment to bridge the business communities of both nations in his role as honorary consul.
During their meeting, they particularly emphasized air accessibility and visa regulations as challenges that require attention.
