“With His 11th Double-Double, Vučević Joins Bulls’ Top Three in Franchise History”

Nikola Vučević made his return after a seven-game absence, etching his name further into the history books as Chicago discovered its stride – the Montenegrin player contributed 11 points and rebounds in the Bulls’ victory over Indiana (121:103).

With this performance, our center recorded double-digit points and rebounds for the 195th time in his career, placing him third on the list of most double-doubles in the history of the “United Center” franchise.

Only Scottie Pippen (200) and Artis Gilmore (288) surpass him.

This marked the Bulls’ third consecutive win in the NBA, securing their position in 10th place, the final position leading to the play-in round in the East, while Vučević played 24 minutes in his first match back from a calf injury.

In addition to his double-double, he tallied one assist, shooting 8-for-5 on two-pointers and 1-for-1 from beyond the arc.

The standout players for the victorious team were Josh Gilmore and Kobe White, each netting 29 points, while Miles Turner led the Pacers with 15 points.

Oklahoma and Denver faced off in another recent showdown, with Nikola Jokić and Drugović emerging victorious against the top team in the West – 140:127.

The Nuggets’ center, a Serbian legend, was the star of the game with 35 points, 18 rebounds, and eight assists, closely followed by Jamal Murray with 34 points.

For the Thunder, Lou Dort was the leading scorer with 26 points, accompanied by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who contributed 25 points.

Another star from the former Yugoslavia, Luka Dončić, also shone with a triple-double, but his LA Lakers fell short against Brooklyn – 111:108.

The Slovenian sensation recorded 41 points, 22 rebounds, and 12 assists over 12 minutes, but without the injured LeBron James, the Lakers couldn’t secure the win.
