The formalities are complete, as Jadran and Primorac will face off in the final of the Montenegro Water Polo Cup.

In the first semi-final at the “Morača” swimming pool, Novalja triumphed over Budva with a score of 22:6 (8:0, 2:2, 5:4, 7:1), while Kotor convincingly defeated Qatar 19:5 (4:0, 2:1, 7:2, 6:0).

The final match is scheduled for tomorrow at 20:00.

Jadran’s scoring included five goals from Matej Čaraj, four from Danilo Radović, three from Dmitrij Holod, and two each from Jovan Vujović, Lazar Vukićević, and Ivan Nagajev, as well as one each from Danilo Stupar, Martin Gardašević, Matija Sladović, and Strahinja Gojković.

Budva’s squad included Danilo Radonić, Stefan Kruta, Luka Savić, Todor Vukčević, Matija Franeta, and Ilija Kojičić.

“We adapted to the pool today, and I hope we will be ready for the final,” stated Jadran’s coach, Petar Radanović.

Nemanja Vico was the standout player for Primorje, scoring four goals, while Marko Mršić and Uglješa Vukasović added three each. Draško Brguljan, Marko Gopčević, Srđan Janović, and Tim Perov netted two each, and Đorđe Stanojević contributed one.

From the Qatar team, the goals were scored by Marko Milić (two), Draško Samardžić, Pavo Vičević, and Milan Nikaljević (one each).

“Finals against Jadran are both a tradition and a rivalry. We will strive to win the trophy, but it will be challenging,” commented Primorje coach, Zoran Maslovar.
