During the session of the Tender Commission for awarding concessions for Montenegrin airports that concluded today, financial offers were revealed, allowing the South Korean firm “Incheon International Airport Corporation” (IIAC) to progress to the second round.

Sources acquainted with the process indicate that the Korean company has proposed a fixed fee of 100 million for the airports alongside a variable concession fee amounting to 35 percent of annual revenues in their financial offer.

As reported by a source to “Vijesti,” the Luxembourg-American enterprise Corporación América Airports (CAAP) has submitted an offer of 101 million in fixed compensation, paired with a variable compensation slightly above 17 percent of annual revenue.

In the recent evaluation of the technical components of the bids, CAAP scored 88.72 points while Incheon received 81.69.

Previously, the Luxembourg-American company earned 85 points, compared to the South Korean company’s 79.7, which meant that only CAAP was expected to move forward to the next round.

The Tender Commission for the concession rights to utilize Podgorica and Tivat airports announced earlier today that the ongoing session confirmed the technical correctness of both bidders’ offers, after which their evaluation process took place.

Earlier today, the President of the Tender Commission and Deputy Prime Minister Nik Đeljošaj stated that a report would be submitted to the Ministry of Transport by the end of the week.
