Jokić Guides Denver to Victory Against the Lakers, While Clippers Join in the Celebration
Last night, Denver’s basketball team triumphed over the Los Angeles Lakers with a score of 131:126, marking their 43rd win of the season, which secures their position in second place in the NBA’s Western Conference.
Conversely, the Lakers faced their fourth consecutive defeat.
Nikola Jokić was the standout player for Denver, scoring 28 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Murray contributed 26 points, while Brown added 22 points.
For the Lakers, Reeves was the top performer with 37 points and 13 assists. Notably, Dončić and James were absent from the lineup.
The Los Angeles Clippers also celebrated a victory, defeating Atlanta 121:98.
Leonard and Harden each scored 25 points for the Clippers, Zubac added 18, and Bogdan Bogdanović wrapped up the game against his former team with 12 points.
Okongwu led Atlanta’s efforts as their most effective player, scoring 18 points.
