Katić Promised Njegoševa Street Work Would Be Finished by May 1st, but It’s the 8th and There’s No Progress
“In response to my inquiry on the show ‘Debate’ regarding the absence of a board for the reconstruction of Njegoševa Street that includes basic information, Mr. Katić (Stevan, President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi) humorously remarked that ‘time passes quickly’ for me. According to him, May 1st marked exactly six months since the commencement of the works, which was the planned deadline. Here we are today, May 8th, and the board is still not in place, nor have the works concluded,” stated Tanja Vujičić, representative of the European Union and vice president of SD in Herceg Novi.
In a post on the Iks platform, she expressed that while time seems to fly for her, the contractor’s progress appears to be moving at a glacial pace.
“Therefore, I reiterate my question – since the board remains uninstalled – will you at least hang it up once (eventually) everything is completed, serving as a monument to your perception of time?” Vujičić asked.
