This evening, at the conclusion of the second quarter, Buducnost Voli held a commanding 22-point advantage over Borac from Čačak (52:30). However, the Montenegrin champions saw a dramatic decline in performance during the third quarter, trailing by three points at the start of the final period—61:58.

Despite this setback, the home team regrouped and, spearheaded by Yogi Ferrell, secured a win in the 23rd AdmiralBet ABA League at the “M:tel Morača Hall” with a final score of 86:69.

This match echoed an earlier season encounter in Čačak, where Buducnost squandered a 20-point lead, rallied back, and ultimately triumphed.

Buducnost kicked off the game with an 8:0 run, and following points from Tanaskovic, it was 8:2. When Sulajmon sank a three-pointer, the “blues” created a double-digit lead for the first time at 16:4.

All seemed perfect for Buducnost then, but toward the end of the first quarter and into the second, their performance dipped, allowing the visitors to score seven unanswered points, closing the gap to 32:21.

Buducnost countered effectively, performing well for the remainder of the second quarter, capped off by Kamenjaš’s free throws which pushed the score to 52:30, a 22-point lead.

Expectations were that Buducnost would handle the rest of the game smoothly, but then a blackout ensued. Midway through the third quarter, after a basket from Tanasković, the score stood at 58:40 in favor of Buducnost. Remarkably, those would be the last points for the home team in that period. A stunning run by the visitors ensued, with Čačak scoring 21 points to take a 61:58 lead at the start of the final quarter.

Yogi Ferrell, who had been absent in previous games against Turk Telekom and Mega, stepped up. He ignited a scoring surge for Buducnost, which reached 16:74 with an uninterrupted run of 61 points, leading to a convincing victory—one that was tougher than the score suggests.

With this win, Buducnost continued their pursuit of the top spot, achieving their 20th win of the season and securing a playoff berth. Nevertheless, such lapses in performance, as witnessed tonight, should not reoccur for the remainder of the season.

Buducnost played without Slavkovic and Morgan this evening, with Ferrell leading the scoring with 21 points. Tanaskovic contributed 15 points, while Kamenjas added 12 points.

Baldwin was a standout for Borac, scoring 19 points, while Nikolić had 17, and Furmanavičius contributed 14 points.

Next, Buducnost will face Spartak away in Subotica in the upcoming round.
